نخلط مكونات التتبيلة: المايونيز و الخردل و جبن البارميزان والخل والثوم والملح والفلفل الاسود و زيت زيتون حوالي ربع فنجان مع القليل من الماء البارد و تخلط التتبيلة جيدا.
تضاف التتبيلة للخس و يقلب جيدا ثم ترتب المكونات جميعها في طبق التقديم و تزين حسب الرغبة.
